• Notice of appointment of date for the exercise of public rights

    Each year the Council’s Annual Return is audited by an auditor appointed by Public Sector Audit Appointments Limited.  Any person interested has the right to inspect and make copies of the accounts to be audited and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating to them.  For the year ended 31 March 2017 these documents will be available on reasonable notice on application to:

    A new textile bank will be at the Village Hall Car Park from this weekend (13th February) onwards for your use and convenience.  Please help to raise funds towards the upkeep of your village by using it!

    APPLICANTS MUST BE RESIDENT WITHIN

    THE PARISH, AND HAVE BEEN SO FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS.

    APPLICANTS MUST ALSO BE IN RECEIPT OF THE STATE PENSION

    ALL APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE MADE TO THE CLERK

    TO THE TRUSTEES  AND SHOULD

    BE RECEIVED BY THE CLERK NO LATER THAN THE

    Hickling Broad Enhancement Project

     The Broads Authority is holding its next Broads Parish Forum on Monday 26 October.

    The focus of this event is the Hickling Broad Enhancement Project, a multi-benefit scheme to improve the condition of this internationally important wetland site for wildlife, local people and visitors. 

     Broads’ communities are invited to drop in to Hickling Barn from 6.30pm, to meet Broads Authority staff and members and chat about issues and ideas in the local area.

    A special presentation on the Hickling Broad project will start at 7.30pm.
