my i ask a question as a resident and councillor of potter heigham.
the litter bin outside, opposite the chippy near the bridge gets over full on many occasions and looks very unkept.
i have cleaned it in the past.
do you have any idea how it can be cleaner or collections more often.
during the summer it is an eyesore.

In the last issue of Norfolk C.C. news magazine there was an article inviting parish council to apply for grants for small highways schemes.
Several residents of Tower Road believe that crossing the main A149 at the junction is dangerous therefore a footpath from Tower road to the layby opposite Repps Garage would make for a safer option to cross and make getting to the Yarmouth bound bus stop more accessible in all weathers.
May enquiries be made of Norfolk Highways Authority regarding this grant scheme.

Peter, I will check that the scheme covers footpaths and will bring your suggestions to the attention of the Parish Council.

      Parish Clerk.
