Following a presentation about the sewage scheme in the Village Hall on 7th June, there will be a public open day  on Monday 11th July 2016 at the Church of St Peter on Church Road between 2.30pm and 7.30pm. The purpose of the day is to enable representatives from Anglian Water & our contractor, Barhale, to meet with the residents and to provide information about the project.  We hope to see you on the day however, if you are unable to attend the open day and/or would like more information please contact me on 01733 414460 or by email to [email protected]

GYBC Building Control:
Once a resident has decided to connect to the new Anglian Water sewer they will need to employ someone to carry out the works (make the connection) and arrange to have to these works inspected by Building Control at Great Yarmouth Borough Council.

Please find below a Building Notice form that has been partially filled in for the new sewer connections.  This completed form together with a fee of £100 + VAT (£120) and a sketch if possible, need to be returned to the Town Hall.  This covers all our inspections.  We will need a phone call at least the day before the works are to commence so that we can arrange the first inspection.  When we have made our final inspection a Completion Certificate will be issued.
Forms can also be obtained by contacting: GYBC Panning Services Dept.  01493 846396  email: [email protected]
